Samsung added a new mobile handset Samsung i800 Omnia to the Omnia series. It is a model which was long awaited. It has many exclusive features as well as touch screen navigation. The touch screen is 3.7 inches WGVA AMOLED resistance and gives a rich viewing experience with 16M colors. It looks like an item of luxury and has become a popular phone among the users. First, let me say right off. I’m really surprised the 3D effect of all digital media displayed on this TV. Now I am a witness to be in the studio to watch the filming of MI-III, Transformers, The Dark Knight and others (“soap opera effect”?). This is the incredible depth of this display. I have 2 other widescreen, plus a dead Sony (this has replaced it), as a comparison, more than half a dozen friends who have their own widescreen. Nothing compares. I’m considering that my display can be an anomaly – the picture is amazing.

Well, now for the bad …

Believe it or not, even if the TV has HDMI x 4 …. (It sends the perfect sound and HDMI digital video for TV), Samsung has decided that the audio output would be stripped of all but one channel left and right – that’s right – ALA 1980 output 2-channel “audio out jack reinserted to your amplifier / receiver. In my previous setup ALL of my audio / video went on TV (which has surround sound output). My DVD and HD audio top box also went to the amplifier / receiver. This has allowed maximum flexibility with the PIP. I often use PIP I and my wife, while she looks cuddles “murder she wrote” and watch UFC (LOL), and each NFL Sunday.

I might add that the UN55B7000 Samsung tuner send digital sound (ie 6.1, etc.) through the audio output, so it is possible – and even more irritating. It ‘s a poor decision to hit the HDMI audio to 2 channel audio output – why not allow the content to be surround sound output – weird … I recommend you check this one out before buying any brand Samsung – do not get how surprised I did (in my particular set-up, my amp can not accept input from all 4 of my sources, so I go on TV gave extra input – I may be forced to buy another amp, I will not do)

And on the PIP …

The PIP provides a single source selection … DVD or cable box or satellite, etc. .. The other source must be the built-in tuner. This is a disappointment. The previous 3 TV in my house (2 still in use) could choose any 2 sources. I read that when you use PIP, only the analog channels are displayed, this is not true, the QAM tuner will display any content – digital or analog, but the consumer must be able to choose his sources for displaying PIP 2.

NOW …. That said, I re-emphasis, UN55B7000 Samsung is absolutely jaw dropping and almost makes up the shortcomings of others …. a strong 4 rating, I was looking at right now …….
